Memorias de la RSEHN (segunda época)

El desarrollo tecnológico de los últimos años ha producido cambios revolucionarios tanto en la forma de posicionarse como en los Sistemas Geodésicos de Referencia y en su materialización en redes geodésicas. Antes de la aparición de los sistemas mundiales de navegación por satélite se consideraban las posiciones de los puntos sobre la superficie terrestre como fijas en el tiempo, pero hoy en día es posible determinar su evolución dadas las grandes precisiones alcanzables. Lo que ha provocado el nacimiento de un nuevo tipo de redes geodésicas, las redes de estaciones permanentes. A lo largo de los tiempos han sido varios los Sistemas Geodésicos de Referencia que han existido en España oficialmente y las características de las redes geodésicas asociadas que los han materializado.

The technological development of the last years has produced revolutionary changes in the way of positioning, in the Reference Geodetic Systems and in its materialization in geodesic networks. Prior to the emergence of global satellite navigation systems, the positions of points on the surface of the earth were considered as fixed over time, but today it is possible to determine their evolution given the hight achievable accuracy. This has brougnt us to the birth of a new type of geodetic networks, the networks of permanent stations. Over the years there have been several Geodetic Reference Systems that have existed in Spain officially and the features of the associated geodesic networks that have materialized them.
